Financial statements submitted (usually in June and December of each year) by the county welfare boards to the Public Welfare Department. The statements document the status of the various public welfare funds (administration, old age assistance, aid to families with dependent children, aid to the disabled, aid to the blind, general relief, medical assistance, and others).

From 1971 to 1983, the reimbursement procedures for intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded (ICF/MRs) were governed by Department of Public Welfare Rule 52.
